Recently, we bought 2 Asus Rog Ally X device. (One for me, and one for Christel)
This is a handheld windows 11 device, ideal for playing games, but I will of course use this device also for other purposes. As you may already used to, from me 🙂

It runs Windows 11 by default, but I also installed Ubuntu on it, and I have it set to dualboot, so you can choose witch OS to run, when you turn on the device.
First thing I did, was change the SSD to a 4 GB version. (1 GB is really not enough for me, setting the Ubunty Partition to 0.5 GB)

Next, I also bought a docking station, so it can sit on my desk, use wired internet, and connect to my large 32:9 8K screen.
This docking also has several USB-C and USB-A ports, and only needs one USB-C connection to be connected to the Ally X itself.
(I connect the Ally X to my bluetooth MX Master 3S keyboard/mouse combination …)

Next, I also bought and Asus Rog Raikiri Pro controller.
It can be connected via USB(C), Bluetooth and an accompanier RF 2.4Ghz dongle.
This way, I can play on my large screen, without moving the Ally X (or docking)

Next on the list, was a bluetooth mouse/keyboard combination for the Ally X for Christel.
A simple bluetooth set, that can even change RGB colors for the keyboard lighting itself 🙂

And to Finish of this list, we bought 2 protective case (we want to use the Ally X also outside, LOL)
The red one is for Christel, and the white one for me …
