Merry Christmas & Happy New Year ! *UPDATED, December, 30th – 2017*

Hi all,

First of all, a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all of our readers and their friends and family …

It’s been a terrible year for us, we hope that 2018 will be much better !
As you may already know, I got a serious epileptic attack at the beginning of january 2017.
It was so bad, that the kept me in a coma for 2 weeks, and they needed to “revive” me 3 times in the meanwhile !
I will spare you all details, but things got so bad, that I couldn’t even remember the alphabet, and couldn’t perform simple tasks as turning on the TV or the radio. Sometimes I also didn’t know where I was … But luckely, Christel is a real Angel, she always did take care of me, and stood by my side the whole time. (And she still keeps doing these things, I’m still not fully recovered)
Ooh well, lets all hope that 2018 will be a year where we can forget these terrible things,
and start enjoying life and each other again …

To celebrate Christmas and the beginning of a new year, Christel and I, bought some presents for each other (ooh well, we do this every year, we like to pleasure each other …)
This year, Christel bought me some train-related gifts (which include a giant railway station building kit of about 1.5 meter in length – a limited Faller Edition !), and I bought an electric step (E-scooter) for Christel … This electric step can run about 20 KM/hour, and has an action radius of about 25 till 30 kilometers, comes with a high brightness front- and backlight, brakelights and a horn 🙂 (I imported it from the U.K., because it’s only half the price, compared to Belgium, even with shipping costs included !)

Because of lots of construction working inside and outside our little town, and also because they changed some main road to one direction traffic, It’s undo-able to take the car and come over for lunch at midday. With an e-scooter, Christel will be able to go eat at home during lunchtime, and take Bear (our dog) out for some quality time 🙂

I on the other hand, will stay at work during lunch (in the past, I did pick up Christel to go home and lunch together, and I brought here back after lunch, and I still was back in time for my work … Those days are gone now, due to lots of traffic changes)

*UPDATE*
I just added the last 4 pictures of the newest modelrailroad additions for 2017 🙂
Happy New Year !
